What are the benefits of practising Mindfulness?

Guided meditation has been associated with lower levels of stress and an increased sense of well-being. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, studied the brain waves of people in high-stress jobs. Those who meditated showed increased activity in the left frontal lobe, an area of the brain linked with feelings of happiness and tranquillity.
